This 1-pound bag of irregular crumbles contains the ground almonds, small chunks of chocolate, and flakes of Vern's delicious butter almond toffee that are the left at the end of our production and packaging. A favorite with locals for munching, or sprinkling as toppings on ice cream, yogurt, or your favorite coffee cake. Our Toffee Toppings can be a wonderful indulgence at home but they are not necessarily what we would recommend for a gift item. If you're feeling more ambitious we'll include some baking recipes. Vern's Toffee generally utilizes USPS Priority Mail for shipments weighing 10 pounds or less. If you or your recipient do not receive mail at your shipping address please provide a PO Box to avoid having your gift returned. UPS SurePost is also an option; please call our shipping specialists at 1(800)958-3767 to find out UPS SurePost rates. Packages weighing more than 10 pounds are generally shipped via UPS.
IMPORTANT 2025 SHIPPING INFORMATION
Please note that ordering early and allowing additional delivery time remains essential as shipping delays are now commonplace. We strongly recommend you plan to ship your gifts by December 1. It is now customary for packages shipping outside of Colorado to remain in transit for a minimum of 13 business days so please plan accordingly. Each package shipped from Vern's Toffee House has a label on the shipping carton instructing your recipients to place their gift in the refrigerator upon arrival; this will ensure the freshness of your gifts for the holidays.
